I was chatting with some folks the other day and somebody was going on about how they had gotten asymptomatic long-COVID from the vaccine. When asked about her sources her response was that AI had pointed her to studies and you could viscerally feel everybody else’s cringe.
Especially if the ones who will refuse to comply keep quitting
I’m resisting the urge to jump to conclusions, however I can’t help but observe that objectively there seems to be a common denominator in your situation. Either way, it sucks that that’s been your experience and I hope things change for the better for you.
It doesn’t feel unique to Lemmy to me. I’m seeing higher levels of hostility in just about any environment broad enough to include left and right wingers

I’m committed. I’ve already rehearsed what I would say to my manager/HR and fully accept that it may end my employment with them. But as somebody who’s financially secure, I feel it’s my duty to make that sacrifice should it come to it.
Just wait till No Kings II. We’re going to turn out so peacefully it just might scare him into a coma.
