I know this might be a weird and stupid question, but I’m curious.

I need some third-party opinions. I’m a Swiss guy currently in Cambodia. I came here on holiday and met a girl at a restaurant in Siem Reap. We talked for a bit and she offered to show me around the area. We hung out together for a week, during which we also hooked up. It was a great week. Then she invited me to stay with her at her family’s house. I accepted because I thought, why not? I’ve been here for three weeks now and had my visa extended by 30 days. I work remotely, so I’m able to support myself financially. My parents hate me being here because they think I’m being taken advantage of financially. For example, they were upset when I told them I bought some things for the house to make my stay more comfortable. Personally, I don’t feel like I’m being taken advantage of.

I have a brass metal stamp for leaving an inked impression on a page. Think of used for the purposes of a rubber stamp. Currently I have pigment ink and it’s very patchy and leaves out fine details. Is there any other ink I should use?

It seems there is a big bet on the value of “human to human” interactions on Reddit. Certainly that makes federated communities easy treasure to pirate? I’m been thinking a lot about my future lately and I’ve come to the conclusion that I’ve had it with blue collar work. I want more out of life than living paycheck to paycheck. For sometime now, I’ve been hearing that college degrees are worthless nowadays so thought about getting Comptia certifications (A+ and then Sec+) and working remotely. But then I thought about if AI will make those certifications obsolete. I know that “AI taking jobs” is a bit of sensationalist reporting but I do have legitimate concerns. I then thought about going back to college for “advance” careers like computer science and/or electrical engineering; more specifically, a bachelor’s degree.

i got a job earlier last month as one of the free sample guys you see at costco, so i’m on my feet for about 6+ hours a day just standing in one spot. they give us mats to stand on too, which i’m trying to use more, but i’m a little flat-footed and they haven’t helped as much as i’d like. my ankles are absolutely killing me now that im on my third week of work to where i’m limping a little after a shift, (cus i unconsciously put more weight on my left foot) and i feel like i can only take so much ibuprofen, yknow??

The past couple of years, the amount of kids out on Halloween has dwindled down in my neighborhood. Do you think people would open their eyes and become more neighborly? Would it free people to actually talk to their friends, go to actual events in person? Or is everyone already entrenched too far?

When I was a kid, my mom always be holding my hands, especially like when we cross the streets. I’m getting events added to my Galaxy phone’s calendar. One was supposed to be an invitation to confirm my $400 order with McAfee, (this happened twice in the last week, and another similar one for a Microsoft service that popped in while I was looking at and deleting the first one. It literally appeared while I was looking at it, and was scheduled for about 3 hours later tonight. I deleted it immediately. Scam emails and text messages I can understand, but how in the hell are they putting this shit in my phones calendar? They have a lot of text in them and links that appear as phone numbers. Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I’m worried I’ve got some kind of mal-ware on my phone…

I have a record player I’m currently using a jbl charge 3 as a speaker for, and I really want to upgrade my sound setup because my car is better than my house.
