Campaign offices are often crowded and busy, and you aren’t going to be able to smear your spit on various keyboards, work surfaces, door knobs, handles, etc. without getting noticed.
If you have access, then it’s just easier, and safer, to do it when nobody is around.

You seem to really admire MAGAs
Let me stop you right there. You have obviously never read any of my posts, so let me make it unequivocally clear that MAGA’s core tenets are Treason, Corruption, Pedophilia, Rape, Racism, Hate, Death, Exploitation, Ignorance, Incompetence, and Socio/Psychopathy, and anyone who supports or defends MAGA are ALL of those things.
I do NOT admire MAGAs.
First of all, I’ve been an Unaffiliated Independent since I first registered to vote in 1977. I think ALL political parties should be abolished.
The DNC has always given lip service to stuff like taxing the rich and getting money out of politics, but when they are in a position to actually do something about it, they literally don’t do ANYTHING about it. And it has been like that for the last 50 years.
Talk is cheap, and MAGAs may be the biggest illustration of that by far, but Dems don’t have anywhere to hide, either. I’m looking for the candidate towards the left who will WALK it like they talk it.
Why is that a “lark?”
There would be lots of times when a campaign office would be closed - late at night, holidays, when the staff is at a campaign event, etc. It’s not difficult to believe that he would know of a length of time when he could be alone in the office to spread germs, as long as he had a key.
That’s a viable strategy. Get hired, fit in, then be virtuosically incompetent.
I remember reading about a Democratic activist during one of the presidential campaigns, who got a job working in some random local Republican office somewhere. He was doing lots of light sabotage, when he caught the flu. He wanted to stay home, but he dragged himself to the office when nobody was around, and smeared his disease-ridden saliva all over the office, on doorknobs, keyboards, etc.
Within a week, most of the people in the office were down sick with the flu in the middle of a presidential election.
Street-level biological terrorism.
Nah, his loyalty will be rewarded with a cushy job as a concentration camp guard, where he can abuse, rape, and murder inmates to his heart’s content.
That assumption is based on the deportations being the objective. They aren’t. They are just the beginning of their agenda.
Guantanamo Bay currently can hold about 200 people. They are currently building a facility there that holds 30,000 people. For context, the average maximum security prison holds 800-1200 people. The largest, in Angola, LA, holds about 5000.
So they are building a facility to incarcerate about 6 times what our largest facility holds, which is already several times larger than average. Even following 9/11, when we thought there were terrorists hiding around every corner, we didn’t feel it was necessary to build such a huge prison. The Gitmo facility will be far from the prying eyes of family, lawyers, courts, and especially the Media. If the court demands someone be released, and they choose to defy the court, who is going to go there and break that person out?
They obviously feel like they are going to have to imprison a LOT of people at some point, and NONE of them are talking about it at all. Neither is the media. In fact, I’ll bet 99% of America have no idea that such a facility is being built.
Who do they plan on sending there, and for what reasons? The media needs to start talking about this.

If he suspends elections for ANY reason, it’s on. That is officially the end of our Democracy, and the end of America. Without elections, we have no government at worst, and a different government at best, but either way, Democratic America is dead, and I am then a citizen of a non-existent nation.
If I’m not a citizen, I’m not paying taxes, following any laws, or recognizing ANY authority.
Then go ask your boss if he can close it for you.

That is a mental illness. These people have a serious hoarding disorder, and they can’t stop accumulating money. They have enough money that neither they, nor their descendants for the next century could possibly spend it all, and yet they will still walk through fire, or hire someone else to, to get even more.
If those people hoarded cats, or rusty cars, or newspapers, or general junk, we would get mental health care for them, and dismantle their collection. Psychopathic Oligarchs are no different. We should involuntarily commit them to mental hospitals to treat their hoarding issues, confiscate the bulk of their treasure, and keep them from rebuilding their fortunes.
I worked my way out of it, and as desperate as things were at times, I never chose to do anything illegal or immoral.
You claim that when people get desperate enough they will do terrible things, and they should be excused for that. Most other people feel that your own bad situation is no excuse to abandon morals and become part of the system that is making life difficult for you.
There is no excuse for abandoning your morals and victimizing your fellow citizens.
I lost everything in 2008, my house, my car, everything. I never compromised my morals. There are always more than enough moral career choices to keep from taking the low road.
That is absolutely no excuse at all. If I need money, is it okay to rob a bank, or steal deliveries off porches, or burglarize houses, etc.? I consider ALL of those things to be less immoral than kidnapping innocent people, and sending them to random countries to be tortured in prison for the rest of their lives. Or breaking up families, or sending young Americans to a foreign country because their parents brought them here when they were babies, etc.
No, we haven’t forgotten how awful this country is, and it’s primarily because people like YOU have turned away from the evil that is happening all around us. The solution is to stop it, not to ignore it, or make lame excuses for it.
No difference. They know what orders they’ll be following when they take the job. They are evil people who are relishing being able to exercise their evil as a career.
Nobody hates Sociopathic Oligarchs more than I do, but there have been cases of ultra-wealthy people being sympathetic to the people.
The best example is Franklin Roosevelt. By my general way of thinking, I never would have supported him based on his wealth alone. And yet he went in to do more for working people than any 10 presidents combined.
So while my general attitude is to NEVER support a billionaire for office, I am prepared to make exceptions for the right candidate, but they have a very high bar to clear to get my support.
Pritzker is looking like a possibility, but I’m still deciding. I’d love AOC, but she’s problematic at this stage. I can’t stand establishment Dems like Newsome. But I will vote for anyone who vows to purge MAGA from our government and our society, reconfigure our government to remove MAGA advantages, and then follows through.
We have to deal decisively with MAGA before we can do any thing else. We can deal with progressive policies after that.
