  • I’m not wasting any more time on you.

Sounds like another thought-terminating cliché if you ask me. How can you know in advance whether your time would be wasted? Do you also have the ability to predict the future? What if we end up having a good time instead, maybe drink a couple beers, get some crazy tattoos as a dare, and you’ll end up naming your firstborn after me?

  • Wow, EIGHT logical fallacies in only four sentences? That’s gotta be some kind of record…

Now, would you please be so kind as to explain just HOW I managed to commit all of these fallacies in such a short amount of time? Because otherwise, one might accuse you of using those fallacies only as a thought-terminating cliché, and we wouldn’t want that, would we.

  • Black people do not have a higher natural talent in sports, for Black youth sports is one of the only ways to achieve success, so they place a higher emphasis on sports. It’s evident because they are only dominant in the sports they have access to.

Okay, so you’re saying racism actually IS the only reason black people are overrepresented in those sports, have I got that right?

Shouldn’t we then maybe implement a diversity quota system in order to give more white and Asian players a chance to compete? Seems kinda unfair to exclude them, don’t you think? Perhaps if more of them had a chance become highly paid sports stars, they’d be less overrepresented in engineering or finance.

  • They should really add racism to the list of examples, because blaming every problem in the world on that is also a thought-terminating cliché.

Why are black people poorer on average than white ones? — Racism

Okay, why are there more black athletes in many professional sports like basketball or football? Also racism? — No, it’s because they have a higher likelihood of having natural talent for these sports.

See how that works? As soon as you’ve pinned the problem on racism, you’re done investigating. Just like with common sense.

  • Sure. Judea was one of many such provinces, and of course there were Jews there, though I don’t know how many of them would have actually been working as tax collectors before Christ, seeing how usury is forbidden in the Torah.

Being dispossessed and forced to work in unclean professions was their punishment for killing an innocent man. Nothing antisemitic about that, they knew what they were doing and chose to go through with it anyways.
