Religious nut jobs take everything even slightly unusual as a “sign from God”, or Allah in this case.

Let me ask you something, if God was trying to send a message, what exactly does a large, dead, fish on a beach say?

Let me ask you something, why does that matter? Just because something rare or unusual happens doesn’t mean it’s from Allah. If it’s a sign or a blessing, what exactly is the message of a giant dead fish on a beach?

A bird has never hit my window. But if a hawk suddenly hit my window and died, I wouldn’t take it as a sign from above. Even if someone calculated how small the chances were for a hawk, out of all the other bird species, to hit MY window, out of all the many windows that exist, it still wouldn’t be a sign. It would just be a thing that happened. Strange and unusual, yes. But strange and unusual things happen EVERY DAY. A one time occurrence is a cool story, but that’s it. It’s not a message from God, it’s just a dead animal.
