Where does the “most efficient killing machine on the planet” come from? I hear it repeated all the time. Interesting in the stats behind this.
Black footed cats are successful in 60% of all their hunts, making them the deadliest member of the feline family.
And that is the greatest trick any predator can pull off. Being so cute that humans write off its deadly impact on native ecosystems.
…I mean the black footed cat IS native to Africa and doesn’t actually impact the ecosystem at all considering it is uh. Native to its range. lol
