Sure but, like… If they controlled Earth, they’d definitely be able to control the wormhole. Earth has all kinds of defenses and presumably is from where starfleet coordinates. The worm hole has… a single spacestation. Tho I guess the wormhole aliens could eject them out whenever wherever. Literally.
