Been doing an awful lot of that lately

I’m reading this extremely interesting book right now:

American Nations

I find myself really looking forward to watching this.

[off topic]

Novels about the American Navy.

“The Revolution At Sea”

Good reads.

Looking forward to it. Epic history is doing a great chronology of the revolution on YouTube right now if you’re looking for a refresher.

In addition [to battles], the program’s historians make us think differently about the history we’re witnessing. In the colonies, those who were faithful to the crown were called Loyalists, and those against them called themselves Patriots. This series humanizes both sides, and also explains why some Native tribes, including the Shawnees, sided with the British in hopes of protecting their own lands.
