I deserve a treat

Me after I write down an already completed task to my todo list so I can immediately strike it out.

I did that recently, but that task was a project that took a little over a month to build, so yeah.

Completing one task is literally infinitely better than completing zero tasks.

Maybe that’s what I need. Shots with every task complete. The dopamine ain’t doing it.

I don’t think I actually got any of the items on today’s list done. But, I did get OTHER tasks done, so I get a reward tonight. 😏

The first thing on my list is always “make list” so I always have something to cross off and can immediately have an excuse for stopping

That’s how I celebrate having created a task in my taskmanager with priority “High” and tag “DO IT RIGHT NOW DON’T FORGET DO IT NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!”

I need a somehow more panicked and feeling all around worse than before completing the task version for me

Yesterday I did three tasks that I had been putting off for about 2 years. Most productive I’ve been in months (outside of work). Quite fucking proud of myself.

I even have most of the laundry clean (and I ain’t gonna put any of it away!)
